Fishing Report 7 Nov, 2013
/We have not had any action offshore this week, and it won't be till Saturday for our next trip . The wind is abating as I write which is some relief but wouldn't a drop of moisture be nice. I have heard the current has been running again offshore but after the Soueasters hopefully it has dropped for the weekend.
Fishing at Inskip has been good with some BIG Golden Trevally landed and
the Beach is still producing Whiting & Flathead. The Straits are still producing reasonable catches of Mud & Sand Crabs making it the best year for ages & rain will certainly bring more Muddies out.
I am just back from another trip to Vic and I did see rain and wind. I had to cross
Pt Philip Bay on the Ferry & rock & rolled. They are catching a lot of Snapper in the
Bay at present with many breaking the 10 kilo mark. They are talking the best season ever since Scallop dredging was banned.
Till next week- Good Fishing.
