Fishing Report 29 Aug, 2013

Well the weather has been nothing short of brilliant for any offshore activity at the Coast over the last week. Fishing has continued to be very good with quality Fish on the bite.

Just the 4 Trips out this week but all have produced a good catch of Mixed Reefies. The main species has again been Snapper and Snappery Squire. Moses Perch & Hussar have been in good No's along with Parrot & Pearl Perch. Other species landed were Gold Spot Wrasse, Sweetlip, Trout & Amberjack.

This weather looks like holding until Saturday at least when we will again test the waters.

In the Straits I have had reports of catches of big Flathead towards Inskip with a lot of Fish being oversize & released.

Finally check out the good news on my Website about the Coalitions Policy on the future of Marine Park legislation if they are elected on the 7th.

All recreational Fishermen should now no which way to vote, this is your chance. One person that really deserves credit is the retiring Senator Ron Boswell who has campaigned so hard for us on this issue.
