Fishing Report 19 Sep, 2013

Fishing has been tough this last week. Firstly when we have been offshore the North winds & Low barometer have shut the fish down. The rest of the week has been made up of strong winds and rough seas,. Hopefully we will be out today (Friday) and then over the weekend .

Next week we have a lot of bookings, but there are spaces so if you want a trip offshore we can probably fit you on. Monday & Tuesday could be the best days.

When we have got out our main catch has been Snappery Squire or Frying Pan Snapper. Other species have been Pearl Perch,Parrot,Moses Perch and Gold Spot Cod.

Well lets hope this wind abates for everyone over the Holidays, as it is certainly warm enough for a swim. The Sandy Straits are still producing Mud and Sand crabs. There are also some really good Whiting in the Straits and on the Beach.

The Beach is also producing Tailor to about 50cm and these are mainly being landed early morning and at night.

Till next week-Good Fishing.
