Fishing Report 26 Sep, 2013

Well this week has produced another four offshore trips. Catches have been only fair as northerly winds, current run and a low Barometer have probably contributed to this. Hopefully Saturday after the Southeast change will turn things around.

We have still landed some really good fish, with a couple of Big Reds as well. Last Friday produced some Big Pearlies from the Northern grounds. Other species landed were Squire, Parrot & Moses Perch.

Over the weekend we fished East only to find current run again but still managed a couple of Red Emperor, Gold Spot Cod, Parrot, Snappery Squire, Moses & Pearl Perch, Hussar & Gold Spot wrasse.

The only Bonus this week has been a Flat Wide Bay Bar. I don't have a Straits report this week, but I have noticed a few Tailor being landed from the front beach. I have also heard of a few Jew being taken as well.

Well that's it for this week, so good Fishing to all.
